Ag Burns Starting Earlier

If you’ve been thinking that agricultural burns are occurring earlier than normal this year, you’re right – according to fire officials. They say the lack of heavy snowfall means burnable materials are drying out faster and farmers are starting burns sooner. On Tuesday, Grant County Fire District 13 responded to the 13000 of RD F NW where a ditch burn went out of control due an unexpected wind shift and the dryness of the land.
