A man taking a plea deal on charges he fired on officers during a 2018 incident in Soap Lake will be behind bars for nearly 35 years. Alejandro Rodriguez was sentenced on Thursday and according to prosecutors he could have faced a life sentenced without the guilty plea. More than a dozen law enforcement officers attended the sentencing hearing ncluding the four Rodriguez shot at while trying to evade capture.
