Wyman Proposes Election Security Bill

Washington Secretary of State Kim Wyman is seeking funding to improve security in county election offices. According to the Seattle times Wyman is asking for
$1.8 million in state money which would make Washington eligible for another $8.6 million in matching federal funds. Wyman also is proposing increased penalties and restrictions for the ballot collection process and is calling for more thorough post-election audits for race recounts.
