A ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled to mark the modernization project completion at the Red Rock Elementary School in Royal City. It’s on Jan. 24 at 6:30 p.m. and community members are invited to join district officials and staff to tour the school. Jan. 24 also marks three years to the date that students returned to Red Rock Elementary following flooding, caused by a burst water pipe. The district paid for the project with flood insurance proceeds and state matching funds.
