Cougars football coach Mike Leach trades the Pac-12 for the SEC as he becomes the new head coach at Mississippi State. He leaves Pullman after eight years and just one month after signing a one-year contract extension. Leach interviewed for the Mississippi State job last week after the school fired Joe Moorhead. Leach led Washington State to a school record five bowl appearances and ranks third in all time wins.
