Moses Lake’s Mick Hansen is helping the less fortunate after lack of funding resulted in the shuttering of the city’s warming center in 2019. Hansen is temporarily lending his property across from the Moses Lake Food bank that was once home to a lumber mill to be used as a makeshift shelter. The former contractor and landowner says he’ll keep the property available until action is taken to tear it down.
