The Cashmere High School girls basketball team will be honoring NBA superstar Kobe Bryant at its matchup today with Omak. Bryant who was killed on Sunday had visited Cashmere just over two weeks ago making good on a promise to watch Haley Van Lith who had trained in Bryant’s basketball academy. Both Bryant and his daughter GeeGee made the trip to see Van Lith and afterwards Kobe talked to both teams and posed for pictures.
