Williams Resigns

On Tuesday Moses Lake City Manager John Williams officially resigned. Williams had been on paid administrative leave pending an investigation into claims of discrimination and harassment. Officials say they have received at least six claims of sexual harassment and discrimination from current and former employees. Williams, along with former Community Development Director Gilbert Alvarado, are both named and are the focus of the claims. Alvarado resigned last month. Moses Lake Police Chief Kevin Fuhr remains acting city manager.
