Adams County Sheriff’s Deputies assisted with an injured Golden Eagle on Monday which was found on McManomon Rd. A witness noticed the bird was injured in the middle of the roadway. It appeared to have been possibly struck by a vehicle. Deputies protected the area until a Fish and Wildlife Biologist arrived and took custody of the injured bird. The department thanked the concerned individual for contacting them about the injury.
