Fires over northern California are sending smoke northward and forcasters say they will produce hazy skies over Eastern Washington for today and likely for some of the following days. The smoke will mainly be aloft so the Department of Ecology is expecting minor smoke impacts in the valleys but nothing like the levels earlier this month. A lack of wind will keep the smoke in place.
