Renters in Washington State who can’t make their monthly payment may soon be able to get help from a new program funded by the federal CARES act signed into law in March. The program administered by the state Department of Commerce received $100 million from the federal government and comes as Governor Jay Inslee extended the moratorium on evictions that was to expire on Saturday until Oct. 15.
