WA Fruit To Avoid Tariffs

With the cherry harvesting season about a month away experts are saying that crop along with other tree fruit will escape the retaillatory tariffs being imposed by China. The Capital Press reports there are few agricultural products being targeted by China including processed foods and beverages along with industrial items. Currently there is a 50 percent tariff on apples, pears and cherries. Analysts are predicting a nearly 25 million box harvest this year.
