Ellensburg Representative Investigated For Sexual Harrassment

A state representative steps down from leadership roles amid sexual harrassment allegations. Rep. Matt Manweller from Ellensburg relinquished his position as assistant floor leader and was removed from being the top Republican on a labor committee. The calls for Manweller to step down began after a Seattle Times story reported investigations being done by Central Washington University into Manweller who works as a professor there. CWU put Manweller on leave earlier this week. Manweller did say he doesn not plan to resign as assemblyman.
