A Grant County Sheriff’s deupty is tapped to be Quincy’s new police chief. Lt. Kieth Siebert has been selected as the new chief of the Quincy Police Department. Siebert will replace Interim Police Chief William Larson, who was hired in April to replace Bob Heimbach, who resigned suddenly in March. He has nearly 24 years of law enforcement experience and has steadily risen through the ranks of the sheriff’s office. He unofficially becomes chief on Friday and will be sworn in Jan. 1.
