Beginning tomorrow through the Thanksgiving weekend the State Patrol will be conducting emphasis patrols in Grant, Adams, Kittitas, Whitman and Spokane Counties. Troopers will be watching for drivers speeding, driving too fast for conditions and distracted alomng with impaired driving. Expect more patrols on state Routes 26 and 195, as well as Interstate 90 over Snoqualmie Pass. The annual Apple Cup game is Saturday in Pullman and the state patrol is encouraging travelers to pay close attention to posted speed limits and to be prepared for changing road and weather conditions.
