Newhouse Announces VA Bill Is Approved

Congressman Dan Newhouse announced a bill that aims to fix issues at the Veterans Health Administration was approved by the U.S. House of Representatives without a single no vote. The legislation directs the VA head to detail the steps needed to reorganize and improve veterans’ access to health care and issue a report to Congress. The bill now goes to the Senate. In a statement Newhouse said he is grateful this legislation has been approved by the House to address mismanagement in the VA.
