Wear Red For Veterans Awareness Month

The Grant County Board of Commissioners has declared November to be Veteran’s History Awareness Month. Commissioners urge everyone to wear red each Friday to show support of those who have served and who are currently serving. Washington State is the home to 607,000 veterans, 60,000 active duty members and 19,000 National Guard and Reserves members. Contributions from these citizens have been vital to maintaining the freedom that the U.S. can offer.
