Royal School District Gets Grant For Home Learning

A grant made to the Royal School District will help fifth graders have a new way to continue their education at home. The $25,000 grant from the America’s Farmers Grow Rural Education Program, sponsored by the Monsanto Fund is paying for a Chromebook cart and Kajeet Wi-Fi Smartspots which students will take home with them to focus on school assignments. According to district officials the Wi-Fi devices are monitored and filtered out access to inappropriate and non-education content on the Internet.
