Get A Flu SHot

The State Department of Health is reporting an increase in the number of flu cases and is recommending anyone over the age of six months to get a flu shot. Those over the age of 65 or who have chronic health issues like diabetes are especially encouraged to get the shot. Washington had 278 flu deaths confirmed by medical officials in 2016 and DoH said high numbers of patients went to medical facilities for the flu. The department says those battling the flu should stay home from work to help prevent the virus from spreading.
