Traffic Stop Leads To Historic Drug Bust

What started as a traffic stop earlier this month in Moses Lake ends up being one of the biggest drug busts in the history of Grant County’s Interagency Narcotics Enforcement Team. Authorities say an investigation following that traffic stop resulted in search warrants being executed at seven locations throughout the county. More than 25 pounds of methamphetamine, seven pounds of heroin and 40 pounds of processed marijuana were confiscated with a combined street value of $1.2 million. Two people were arrested.
