Alaska Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing In Spokane

Some tense moments Thursday on an Alaska Airlines flight from Chicago to Seattle when it made an emergency landing in Spokane because a passenger had a medical emergency.

Flight attendants told authorities the man collapsed about 20 minutes away from Spokane and by chance there were two King County EMTs and an ER doctor on board who tended to the passenger until they could get him to the hospital.

There’s been no word on the passenger’s condition and the flight did eventually land in Seattle.
