Over 80 Grant County Consumers To Get LCD Settlement Checks

The state attorney general’s office announced consumers who purchased liquid crystal display-manufactured electronic devices over an eight-year period beginning in 1998 will be receiving a check as the result of a $41.1 million settlement with manufacturers for price-fixing the display panels.

According to a document posted on the attorney general’s website 83 consumers in Grant County will receive an average check of $200 depending on the number of devices for which claims were filed.

The AG’s office says checks will be mailed out beginning next week.
