Jolly Mountain Fire Now At 25% Containment

Nearly 800 firemen continue to battle the Jolly Mountain Wildfire near Cle Elum.

Authorities say the fire has consumed 34,000 acres of Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest woodlands since it started last month and is 25 percent contained.

According to the Incident Management Team conditions for those still under a level 3 evacuation notice are continuing to be assessed so those residents can return home.

The fire is expected to be fully contained by mid-October.
