Inslee Visits Ephrata, Talks About Waterline Project

Governor Jay Inslee met Wednesday with Ephrata city leaders to hear about the city’s waterline project which is on hold due to a lack of a state capital budget.

The holdup is due to a needed overlay from the Department of Transportation which is currently not funded.

Inslee says he considers the replacement of the water lines a big deal which is why he came to Ephrata.

Once an capital budget agreement is reached Inslee can call legislators back into session to pass the spending plan.
