A judge declared a mistrial in a Pasco murder case because the jurors overheard a woman talking about a witness.
According to court records a woman was in the courtroom Tuesday during the trial of Pedroza-DeSantiago who is accused of killing a man in 2015 and after the woman was told to leave for being a disturbance the jurors heard her on the phone in the courthouse parking lot.
The next day the jurors informed the baliff and the judge declared the mistrial
A new trial will begin September 11.
