Rain Helps Control East Saddle Mountain Fire

Mother Nature helped firefighters battling the East Saddle Mountain Fire near Othello by dropping a little rainfall on the blaze that so far has consumed 17,000 acres.

Authorities say the fire that started Saturday afternoon has consumed two structures and the evacuation level has dropped from three to two.
